📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ultimately, the role of the Construction Accountant is to ensure that our financial management is accurate and effective.
ResponsibilitiesMaintaining or reviewing accounting files, payable and receivable. Preparing/organizing various reports, financial forms, and analysesIssuing invoices and purchase ordersPaying consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and supplier billsCollaborating with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project. Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposesAssisting where needed during down time.
Qualifications Minimum 2-year experience with QBO required. Experience with Sage accounting software preferred. Experience with Procore preferred. Experience working with construction company preferred. Knowledge or experience using Procore preferred. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
Shift - 8:30 AM- 05:00 PM (30min break) Full Insurance Benefit offered.
