Metropolitan Psychological Services, PLLC is a growing, private-pay psychological practice with office locations in Arlington and Tyson’s Corner, VA. Our Arlington location serves individuals 18+, and couples. MPS Tyson’s provides psychotherapy services to children ages 5+, teens,adults, couples, and families. Both locations provide psychological assessments.
We are a LGBTQ+ affirming practice. MPS PLLC is looking to hire either a Post-Doctoral Resident in Psychology or a Licensed Staff Psychologist.
Qualifications include: Completion of a Doctorate Degree (PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or related field) 4 years of clinical experience Interest and clinical experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to CHILDREN & FAMILIES ages 5+ AND/OR wants to work exclusively with ADULTS & COUPLES (opportunity to work across the lifespan if this is of interest) Someone who enjoys autonomy, independence, flexibility and collaboration A desire to be long-term member of the MPS PLLC clinical team An ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (or wants to develop a full-time caseload)

Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services (and assessment services if desired) Complete intake reports and weekly session notes/documentation within a timely manner Utilize effective communication Exhibit and maintain professionalism
