📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
ACI is hiring experienced Mechanical Supervisors, General Foremen and Leads with well-respected and proven backgrounds within the Material Handling Industry. Responsibilities Successfully oversee teams of 10 - 40 men while performing the mechanical installation of material handling systems for various clients including Amazon, FedEx, USPS, UPS, The Home Depot, Walmart, and Target.
- Maintain a high-level focus on Safety and Quality while meeting project schedules. · Understand and Manage project budgets such as labor, equipment rentals and consumables. · Manage onsite communications and daily activities with customer and GC. · Provide daily and weekly reports, conduct onsite safety meetings, attend onsite construction meetings, complete JSA's, and submit weekly timesheets. · Basic computer skills to include - email, Microsoft Word and Excel. Conveyor Installation Skills recommended and/or required. o Layouto Header/Hanger Steelo Platform/Mezzanine Installation o Conveyor Install - all types including Accumulation, V-belt, BOR, Slider Bed, MDR, Gravity, Slat/Shoe Sorters, Crossbelt Sorters, Intralox Sorters, Ambaflex spirals, Tiffin or Talos Chutes, Fives’ Singulators, Transnorm curves etco Punchlist, Commissioningo ASRS Crane and Rail installation experienceo Air Piping QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years’ experience with references within the industry. Overall experience required will depend on the position being applied. Experience with the following systems integrators preferred - Fortna/MHS, Vanderlande, Dematic, Daifuku/Wynright, Honeywell/Intelligrated, Fives UPS, USPS and FedEx weld-up conveyor experience Other certifications that are helpfulOSHA 10 - Foreman or LeadOSHA 30 - SupervisorNCCCO - Crane certification - fixed cab (Broderson 30K capacity or similar)Magni Telescopic Handler CertificationTelehandler - All Terrain (Gradall, Lull)5-6k Warehouse ForkliftBoom LiftScissor Lift
