We are a dermatology and facial plastic surgery office with ocean views in the heart of Newport Beach. We're looking for an outgoing, friendly, and dependable candidate to join our tight-knit team. The candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, be a great team player, and be committed to providing the best quality customer service to our patients.
ResponsibilitiesAnswering phone callsResponding to emailsScheduling patient appointments and follow-up visitsCollecting patient paperworkObtaining consentsVerifying patient insuranceObtaining prior-authorizationsCollecting co-payments and payments for cosmetic purchases Making confirmation phone calls
QualificationsAt least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably medical officeExtremely detail-orientedStrong computer/office skillsStrong phone skills – pleasant phone voice, with the ability to manage multiple phone linesExcellent communication - written/verbal and typing skillsTeam player mentality - willingness to help and take initiativeUnderstanding of insurance (preferred)EMR experience (preferred)Dermatology experience (preferred)
