We are looking for a qualified Nurse Trainer/RN for our client, a health service agency providing care for the developmentally disabled. This is a full time position (M-F 8:00-4:30), located in-person in McHenry County, IL.
Job Description:The Registered Nurse Trainer is responsible for providing medical consultation services to clients and providers to insure the overall health and well-being of clients. This includes ensuring compliance to all state required training regarding health and safety, skills assessments, and medication administration, training all providers in basic health and safety and medication administration. This involves allowing trained staff to administer medications to clients (per guidelines) on nursing license, as well as monitoring and oversight of medication administration/supervision of certified staff.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school), Field of Study: Nursing3 plus years of experience in IDD Nursing. State of Illinois Nursing License and Nurse Trainer Certificate required. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
