📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Wellness Program Director is responsible for strategic planning associated with health and wellness programs and overall embedding and fostering of wellness culture at Jacobi or North Central Bronx Hospital and facilitating the strategy and process to launch new programs based on the 8 Dimensions of Well-being across the facility/service line. The Wellness Program Director at each facility will be working as a part of the holistic, proactive, and preventative Helping Healers Heal (H3) program bringing workforce wellness to staff and across all tours. Reporting to the H3 Leads, the Wellness Program Director is responsible for coordination, crisis support, and successful planning, deployment, improvement and integration of wellness programming.
- In alignment with our healthcare system's focus on workforce wellness, there are two Wellness Director opportunities: one at Jacobi and one at North Central Bronx Hospital
Qualification Requirements:A valid License issued by the New York State Education Department to practice as a Creative Arts Therapist or as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker plus three years of full-time, paid, professional experience working within a creative arts therapy, social work, or wellness environment.
