NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Sr. Windows Systems Engineer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, direct hire position. Candidate located in the Eastern Time Zone is preferred.

SALARY: $115-120K (depending on experience)
Requirements
5-7 years of experience with advanced systems engineeringMust have experience with MS Platforms, Cloud, O365, Active Directory, and Virtualization tech (VMWare, HyperV)3rd party cloud security and identity solutions including Okta. Experience with Microsoft Cloud Platform Security – users, groups and rolesVirtualization computing environments including HyperV and VMWareCerts, Healthcare Industry exp, multi-location experience is a PLUS
Responsibilites
- Design, implement and maintain the organization’s computer systems and networks, including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
- Design, configure and administer Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD and related cloud compute environmentConfigure and maintain ADFS / Okta / IDP tools and environmentMonitor and optimize the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure high availability and stability including storage/SAN environments.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those requirements.
- Manage and mentor junior IT systems engineers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of large-scale IT projects.
