Position Summary:The Human Resources (HR) Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the HR functions for our YouTube content creation teams. This role requires a proactive approach in developing an HRIS for the team, while ensuring adherence to HR policies and compliance with legal standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management within the media or entertainment sectors, showcasing a firm grasp of HR principles and employment laws.
Required:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in HR management, particularly within the media, entertainment, or related creative industry. Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and industry best practices. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Core Responsibilities:Develop and deploy HRIS system for company wide use.
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, including detailed orientation sessions to familiarize them with company culture and operational protocols.
- Deploy effective performance management strategies to monitor and enhance contractor performance.
- Identify and coordinate developmental programs, workshops, and training sessions tailored to skill enhancement for content creation teams.
- Act as the primary contact for resolving contractor issues, providing mediation, and ensuring effective resolution strategies are in place.
- Manage grievance processes, conduct necessary investigations, and enforce disciplinary measures as required.
- Develop and enforce HR policies that are specifically tailored to the needs of content creation teams, ensuring all practices are compliant with current laws and industry standards.
- Initiate and manage programs aimed at boosting contractor engagement and overall job satisfaction.
- Regularly conduct surveys and feedback sessions to assess contractor concerns and implement improvements based on feedback.
Reporting Structure:The HR Manager will report directly to the leadership steering committee. This role involves frequent collaboration with content creation teams, other HR personnel, department heads, and various stakeholders engaged in talent management and organizational development.
