The R&D Finance Manager will be a part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Nutanix. The FP&A team is a small, high-energy team that partners with business leaders across all functions. They provide analysis to support strategic decisions, conduct financial reviews, and manage financial processes such as planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking. The team is focused on driving financial insights and supporting the growth of the organization. The R&D Finance Manager will have the opportunity to work closely with the R&D function, providing financial analysis and support for budgeting, resource planning, and portfolio management.

Your Role

Own R&D database and project allocationsImprove tracking of CapEx investmentsPrepare financial analysis for budget vs actualsCoordinate regular business reviewsReview monthly accruals and possess knowledge of opex/capex accrualsProvide day-to-day business partnering to functional leadersDevelop annual plan and ongoing forecast for departmental expenses and headcountThink creatively and quickly with minimal direction

What You Will Bring

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 106,240 and USD $ 212,880 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
