Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex projects related to hydrogen production. As a key member of our team, the Sr Project Manager will manage project execution and will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting technical requirements, adhering to timelines, and delivering exceptional results.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and requirements.
• Execute projects according to established plans, monitoring progress and addressing any deviations or obstacles.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, offering insights and solutions to overcome technical challenges.
• Possess understanding of complex systems and processes, as well as the project development cycle of hydrogen equipment- design phase, shipping, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project implementation and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Proactively monitor project activities and address any issues or concerns that may arise to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle Engage with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities to address inquiries, solicit feedback, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring allocation of resources in a cost-effective manner and maintaining financial discipline.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to procure necessary materials, equipment, and services required for project implementation.
• Optimize resource utilization and efficiency to maximize project outcomes while minimizing costs.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure full execution of the project plans.
• Prepare written and oral presentations for internal and external stakeholders and maintain all necessary channels for communication.

LOCATION, TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work location is the Ohmium US, CA (bay-area) office Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 20% of the time. Must be willing to occasionally interface with time different time zones such as India, EU.

FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Work Experience

Proven track record of at least 7 years in project management roles, preferably within the hydrogen or renewable energy sector. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion, with a focus on technical deliverables. Strong technical background in hydrogen technologies, with a deep understanding of relevant principles and applications. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
