Description
As a FAE working closely with the Sales team, you are a critical partner in participating in customer meetings demonstrating OmniVision's products and supporting sales in closing deals.
Responsibilities
Provides technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations Works with sales team in assessing potential application of OmniVision products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer applications and solutions Provides follow-up support to sales team and customer by disseminating technical information on specific applications Ensures product is functioning to specifications Works closely with teams focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products Participates in projects from initiation through delivery including planning and schedules
Qualifications
BSEE or equivalent; MSEE preferred Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; Must be comfortable making technical presentations in front of all levels of customers Minimum five year experience working in applications engineering in semiconductor industry Minimum 5 year experience as a FAE Systems knowledge is a huge plus Practical knowledge of and interest in imaging business and handset architecture are a plus
