SEO Analyst

Position Summary:One Firefly is on the lookout for a dedicated SEO Analyst to strengthen our SEO team!

Are you skilled in the intricate details of on-page SEO, such as optimizing meta tags, headers, and internal links?Do you have a talent for writing and optimizing content that resonates with client brands and engages their audience?Are you passionate about reviewing SEO data and turning it into actionable next steps?

As a SEO Analyst, your role is foundational in executing the SEO strategies crafted by our team at One Firefly. You'll be deeply involved in the hands-on aspects of SEO, from writing and optimizing content that effectively conveys our clients' brand voice and meets audience needs, to conducting detailed SEO audits and analyses. Your work will be pivotal in transforming insights from content gap and competitor analyzes into practical, actionable strategies.

Your responsibilities will also extend to maintaining the health and integrity of our clients' online presence. This includes monitoring and managing backlinks, identifying and removing harmful links, and ensuring that new website content adheres to SEO best practices. You will play a crucial role in documenting SEO activities and contributing to the team's efforts in staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in SEO. • What you’ll do:Coordinate with SEO Strategist and project management team to design and execute monthly SEO activities based on predetermined monthly client scope.
• Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags, header tags and internal links to enhance website content for search engines.
• Write and optimize engaging, SEO-friendly content that reflects the client's voice and meets audience needs, ensuring alignment with previously set keyphrases.
• Offer support to SEO Strategist and actively participate in brainstorming action plans for clients’ ongoing SEO activities with One Firefly.
• Perform comprehensive SEO audits regularly to assess website performance, pinpoint technical issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Run content gap, keyword gap and competitor analysis reports and convert findings into actionable recommendations and next steps.
• Review new website content and structure post-SEO implementation to ensure adherence to SEO best practices.
• Monitor backlinks, identify and remove toxic links to maintain website health and uphold search engine trust.
• Document completed monthly activities for SEO Strategist to then compile into client-facing report.
• Remain up-to-date on SEO best practices, participate in weekly SEO team meetings and be an internal resource for SEO questions.

What you’ll bring:Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferredAt least 2-3 years of experience in SEOAt least 2-3 years of copywriting experienceStrong understanding of current SEO best practicesGoogle Analytics and Google Search Console experience requiredExperience with local SEO requiredExperience in Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Neuron Writer/SurferSEO/MarketMuse is a plusExperience in project management software (IE. Zoho Projects, Workfront, or similar PM environment) and reporting on completed activities preferredDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilize resources and meet deadlinesExperience executing content strategies preferredComfortable working remotelyBackground in technology/consumer electronics/home automation industries is a plusEmbrace an attitude of lifelong learningSkillful in data management and analysisProven problem solver that takes initiativeResult-oriented with a strong work ethicProven team player mentalitySuperior verbal and written communication skills, including strong active listening skills and exceptional spelling and grammarMeticulous attention to detail
