Job Description
Oracle’s cloud capacity program team plays a pivotal role in managing large-scale cross-org programs and projects that span the server, data center and network verticals in addition to engineering, product, and business teams. You will partner with subject matter experts from across the company to create, manage and report on the health of the business priorities that are visible to Oracle’s highest levels of leadership. Successful candidates for this role will be excellent communicators, innately curious, and can influence outside of direct reporting lines. Teamwork is the key to our success, and we thrive on collaboration. Our team works on a wide variety of projects, but we emphasize learning and teaching, so we are constantly iterating on best practices and tools of the trade.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting capacity programs related to end-to-end data center and hardware life cycle, including rack decommissioning and supporting DC space planning. You will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships to ensure the most critical business initiatives are fully supported. You will need to gather requirements in partnership with our internal customers, develop execution plans, and drive implementation of both strategic and tactical initiatives.
Responsible for managing programs supporting delivery of capacity from the data center through partnership with both remote and local peer organizations to support ongoing business growthTrack issues, analyze data looking for trends and reporting out to executive stakeholdersCollaborating globally to develop and implement process improvements in operationsCreate and drive a culture of safety, ownership, innovation, collaboration and accountabilityBe forward thinking by understanding data center growth, identifying scaling issues before they occur and contributing to solutionsSupport the team in the generation of specifications, and ideas for process and software automation improvements that facilitate the deployment and retirement of server hardware at scale
Minimum Qualifications
BS or BA in a technical field or commensurate experienceExperience operating in large technical environmentsProven time, resource and project management experienceSubstantial experience of managing cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partnersCommunication skills and experience with executive reporting

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
