About the Role

As the Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in

Developing advanced marketing measurement capabilities that unlock our company vision to transform the measure of marketing success. You will be at the forefront of developing and delivering differentiated marketing data science and measurement solutions focused on maximizing profitable enterprise revenue and customer value for our clients. Partnering with driven, solution-minded experts, business leaders, analysts, and scientists at Ovative in engaging with clients, and defining approaches and road maps for solutions to client problems. Technical mentoring of junior data scientists, guiding their algorithmic, testing methodological approaches, and reviewing their code. Working with technology leaders, product owners and engineers to convert novel solutions developed to scalable new services and products at Ovative. Being a part of an inclusive culture that inspires and motivates the team and attracts new, diverse technical talent to the organization.

Responsibilities of a Sr. Data Scientist

Lead technical contributor in a high-performance data science & advanced analytics team, responsible for your team’s productivity, operational excellence, and business impactDrive value across multiple business verticals by leading the technical development and deployment of impactful and interpretable modelsPartner closely with Engineering and Product Management to scale your team’s innovative measurement solutions into product and service offeringsProvide mentoring, training, and other opportunities for effective technical development of data scientistsAssist with technical parts of business development as needed, including RFP response and sales presentationsBuild strong relationships across the organization to understand internal stakeholder needs for trusted data science support

Requirements

5+ years of related work experience in data science, analytics, or related quantitative fieldAccomplished technical contributor in data science & advanced analytics teams, preferably in a product-centric organizationExperience in machine learning & statistics needed, along with demonstrated proficiency in scalable coding (SQL, and/or R or Python) and data science tools (Git, Docker)Elevated level of business acumen with experience in digital & traditional marketing preferred. Bonus if you have deep expertise in development & applications of marketing & customer measurement methods (e.g. Media Mix Models, Attribution Modeling, Customer Lifetime Value, Segmentation, etc.); experience with Bayesian approaches preferred. Demonstrated ability to think independently, lead and influenceAbility to communicate clearly and lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients & executives

Pay Transparency

At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.

For our Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $79,000 to $132,000, which is inclusive of a 20% bonus.
