Our client is seeking a Project Engineer with a strong focus on water and wastewater projects to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or chemical engineering and a proven track record of working on project related to wastewater treatment facilities.
In this role you will support and lead project teams for the water/wastewater group
Responsibilities:Manage and lead water and wastewater projects for water treatment plants from conception to completion. Coordinate project activities, budgets, schedules, and resources. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success. Prepare and review engineering design documents and reports. Conduct technical analysis, calculations, and evaluations. Ensure projects meet regulatory and environmental standards. Provide expertise and support in project execution and delivery.
Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or chemical engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.5+ years of hands on experience in water and wastewater projects for water treatment facilities. Proficient in project management and engineering software. Knowledge of relevant local and federal regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and independently. A commitment to environmental and sustainability principles.
