Responsible for assisting the Tournament Services Manager with hospitality, sponsorship activation and client services.

Qualifications

Graduating senior or graduate student in an accredited four-year college or university or currently possess a bachelor’s degreeSports Marketing/Management, Marketing, Management, Communications or comparable liberal arts majors preferredAbility to work in a team environmentPublic relations skills and ability to communicate with staff, volunteers, corporate clients, club members and general publicMust take initiative, operate proactively and think independently in project management and problem solvingCapacity to work on several projects simultaneouslySelf-discipline with schedule and time managementOrganization, attention to detail and follow-through are crucialAbility to stand for lengthy periods and to lift/move boxes of supplies and apparel potentially weighing 30 pounds or moreStrong computer skills

Responsibilities/Duties

Communication and public relations with corporate clientsTracking of contracts, client information, deal sheets and accounts receivableCoordination of client asset fulfillmentAssist corporate clients with tournament partnership including accessing and managing digital ticketsCurate and distribute the tournament’s monthly sponsorship newsletter and ticket holder newsletterAssist with execution of Executive Women’s Day, the Pro-Am and Honorary Observer programOversee client services during tournament weekAssist with Tournament’s grassroots marketing campaign, working with local partners to promote the eventAssist with event pre-planning & logisticsWork closely with the Tournament’s title sponsor, Dominion Energy, and host club, The Country Club of VirginiaAssist with other Tournament Services and Sales related duties as assigned
