Piper Companies is seeking an Cloud Systems Engineer to design, recommend, plan and implement enhancements to the systems infrastructure. The Cloud Systems Engineer will perform effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure in cloud environments.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Systems Engineer include
Lead the installation, configuration and maintenance, including recognizing and troubleshooting problems of Windows operating systems Recognize and troubleshoot problems with server hardware and applications software Manage Active Directory secure servers and systems to ensure sound and secure computing practices are in place Daily administration tasks in SharePoint such as adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions Evaluate and analyze system performance and metrics to recommend service improvements
Qualifications for the Cloud Systems Engineer include
7 years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator in cloud environments Knowledge of cloud based architectures (Azure, AWS) Knowledge of Microsoft Servers, Active Directory (Azure AD), and VMware Knowledge of O365, SharePoint, IIS, SQL Server Ability to create and troubleshoot shell scripts in Powershell or Python
Compensation for the Cloud Systems Engineer include
Salary | $130-135,000 base Full benefits coverage, 401K, pension, annual bonus
