Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst who will support a government contract located in Auroa, CO.
Responsibilities for Cyber Security Analyst
Provides detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activitiesCharacterizes and performs analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resourcesPerforms security event and incident correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprisePerforms cyber incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact; identify the specific vulnerability and make recommendations which enable expeditious remediationTracks and documents cyber incidents from initial detection through final resolutionAnalyzes and assesses damage to the data / infrastructure as a result of cyber incidentsPerforms cyber incident trend analysis and reportingHours: 24x7 Shift Work (Panama Shift Schedule; hours dependent on location)
Qualifications for Cyber Security Analyst
5 years of relative experience TS/SCI CI Poly Cyber Security Certification (CEH, CISM, Security Plus, CYSA, Etc.) Experience with Linux and Windows Experience with COTs
Compensation for the Cyber Security Analyst
$100,000 – $120,000 *Depending on Experience. Cigna Medical, dental, vision, 11 Holiday, 401k, 3-week PTO
