Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will support a government contract located in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities for Cyber Security Engineer
Design, implement and maintain complex systems and infrastructure that support business objectives Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems and infrastructure meet security, scalability, and performance requirements Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including performance and availability problems Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures Develop and implement system monitoring and alerting strategies Mentor and train junior team members Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications for Cyber Security Engineer
5 – 10 years of relative experience TS/SCI CI Poly Cyber Security Certification (CEH, CISM, Security Plus, CYSA, Etc.) Experience with Elastic, Ansible and/or Kubernetes Worked with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Strong Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Compensation for the Cyber Security Engineer
$120,000 – $180,000 *Depending on Experience. Cigna Medical, dental, vision, 11 Holiday, 401k, 3-week PTO
