Responsibilities Of The Microbiology Technician
Read plates and tubes to determine the number of organisms in each sample Record finding on worksheet for verification, and write identification onto plates Pipette sample solutions into tubes/plates according to the analysis process being formed Prepare sample for analysis by recording, blending, and weighing Collect plates and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature Support laboratory management in the implementation maintenance, and improvement of management system
Qualifications Of The Microbiology Technician
1+ year of relevant work history is required Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment Ability to pick up on new skills quickly Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Compensation For The Microbiology Technician
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr. 6-month contract to hire Comprehensive Benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO
