Piper Companies is looking for a Network Technician for a Contract-to-hire opportunity with a large healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities for the Network Technician
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor network performance, and reliability making sure to implement updates and improvements as needed.
- Work with EUS Technician to provide End-User support connectivity and wireless related concerns
Requirements for the Network Technician
Proven experience as a Network Technician. Clear knowledge of network protocols especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANSFamiliarity with Network Equipment that are common to today changingAbility to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficientlyEffective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Technicians and End-usersAbility to work between multiple local sites and take care of issues as neededRelevant certifications ( e.g, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) would be a real advantage.
Compensation for the Network Technician
Targeting $20-$25/hr depending on experienceContract-to-hire opportunityComprehensive Benefits Package
