📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to in Raritan, NJ (Hybrid Remote Schedule) to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical organization. This role will be responsible for key planning, monitoring, reporting, and controlling of budget and investments.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Financial Analyst include
- Collaborate with project management and the Global Finance team to manage/report on investments, capital and expense.
- Working closely with cross functional teams to forecast Latest Thinking, Confirm Committed, Actuals, Accruals.
- Financial Planning: Develop aCAR template with Portfolio Manager, work with PMs of different workstreams and prepare budget planning for next year, identify any Carry Over budget (Committed and Uncommitted $$ from current year), Prepare aCAR financial forms.
- Understand and explain any changes and variance analysis needed.
- Work with project teams of different workstream to understand how the various moving parts of the project effect the LT and refine the projections of LT $$ as per current trend and historic data.
Qualifications for the Sr. Financial Analyst include
5+ years of finance experience preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing/Life Sciences Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP functions), Power Point, MS Word, MS Teams, Share Point, Zoom.
