What You Will Be DoingAre you a seasoned Project Controls Manager with a passion for driving efficiency in industrial mechanical construction projects? Our client, a leading contractor in Houston, Texas, is looking for you to join their team.
The Ideal CandidateManage and coordinate Work Package Building ProcessOversee document control, cost, engineering, scheduling, changes, delay analyses, etc. Conduct systems and WP readiness reviewsAct as liaison between Field Office Personnel, Field Teams, and Corporate Project TeamsIdentify and communicate subcontractor progression issues to Project ManagementServe as AWP champion for the projectEnsure execution of all contract Controls deliverablesMaintain integrations and structure in all systemsProvide oversight of all Project Controls functions in accordance with SOPs and Contract RequirementsCoordinate staff needs and manage daily operationsIdentify project progression issues and communicate to Project and Site ManagementManage and coordinate material expediting from Procurement to Receipt of Materials
Other Essential FunctionsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of project controls management experience in constructionProficient in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and document control processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities
