Paint Lead -2nd Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a Cell Leader for our 2nd shift Paint operations at PJs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in manufacturing operations while leading a team of 15 to 20+ hourly employee

Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm- 2am, OT Fridays and/or Saturdays as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure team members are fully trained in all aspects of safety and abide by safety rules and practices.
• Participate in Root Cause/Corrective Action process in all safety and quality occurrences.
• Embrace and educate employees on the continuous improvement culture, apply tools and leadership to improve business metrics.
• Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through daily shop floor meetings, effective communication, and develop an efficient team which executes production requirements, changes, customer needs and process improvements.
• Enforce all company procedures / work standards.
• Make sure team members are producing at company standards and that they are following company procedures.

Education – Experience Required

High School Diploma or GED required 2-3 years minimum of operations, process improvement or training experience Previous leadership experience preferred Must have excellent organization skills, communication skills, and computer proficiency.
