📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pride Health is hiring for a contract Radiology Technologist to support our client's healthcare organization in Waynesburg, PA! This is a 13-weeks contract -to-hire opportunity.
Schedule: 7:45am to 8:15pm (3*12 hour shifts each week. Rotating weekends and holidays.)
Duties:• Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA.• Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read and report results to providers.• Retrieve and archive radiographic reports; create/burn CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.• Perform detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.• Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.• Complete patient referrals and patient callbacks daily.
Qualifications:• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology• Licensed and accredited by ARRT and State, if applicable and required by law
Pay range - $35-45/hour. for local candidates and weekly gross packages for travelers | Negotiable for the right experience*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
