Overview:As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your expertise in data modelling and visualization, will enable you to create interactive reports and dashboards that empower decision-makers across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, providing valuable insights through data analysis and visualization.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that address business requirements. Create and optimize queries and measures to enhance data analysis and visualization capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with BI solutions. Design and implement data models and schemas to support efficient data analysis and reporting. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. Identify opportunities to improve existing Power BI solutions, implementing enhancements to meet evolving business needs. Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and design specifications. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and BI best practices, applying new knowledge to project initiatives.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Microsoft Power BI.Strong experience in data modelling and Power Query. Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server. Experience with data visualization best practices and creating interactive reports and dashboards. Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data pipeline design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
