Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Execute all varieties of obstetrical and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound exams. Explain testing procedures to patients. Obtain and document appropriate medical history and pertinent information. Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelinesProduce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation. Utilize the PACS system to make images available to the interpreting physician and create preliminary written reports. Ensure that emergent exam results are verbally relayed promptly to the appropriate physician. Evaluate sonograms in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information. Communicate efficiently with on-site physicians/staff in a professional manner. Have a thorough knowledge of OB/GYN conditions, including appropriate timeframes needed to schedule follow up scans and related tests. Assist in the care and maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)Direct OB/GYN experience is highly desirableCertified with the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) preferred.
