This position is an exempt full-time position. Your role will be creating a high-quality product that exceeds our clients’ expectations by utilizing specialized engineering software to create detailed 3D models. Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, you will compile precast calculation packages.
Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree from an ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Relevant Coursework: Structural Analysis - Reinforced Concrete Design - Steel Design Other Acceptable Degrees include: Architectural EngineeringMechanical Engineering
Experience0-3 years of experience requireEIT Certification obtained or actively pursuing
Software SkillsMS OfficeMathCAD preferredStructural Analysis or Finite Element Analysis Software (RISA 3D preferred)Autodesk Revit preferred Job DutiesUnder the Direction of a Licensed Professional Engineer:Use basic engineering software to design precast products and connectionsUse REVIT to produce design summaries, model reinforcing, and coordinate BIM itemsCompile basic precast calculation packagesPreliminary check precast shop and erection drawings and respond/investigate/research/resolve issuesParticipate in ongoing standards development
