Process Engineer
QUAD is currently seeking a Process Engineer for a manufacturer located in the Jim Thorpe, PA area.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for nonwovens production line technical support, including machinery operation analysis and process equipment implementation.
Responsibilities: Assisting with the development and maintenance of mainline and slitter process targets and product control limitsPerforming output data process deviations and targets/variations shifts evaluationsTroubleshooting and responding to process and quality issues Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives development, support, and implementationProviding equipment processes and qualifications coordination and supportPerforming visual inspections of production line and observing roll quality and fabric samplesCollaborating with Quality Assurance on quality concerns and issues investigations and resolutionOverseeing tracking, activities coordination, and PM schedules Tracking and maintaining operation PM task listAssisting with SOPs and WI development and maintenanceProviding 24/7 line support and setting up coverage as needed
Skills/Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline3-5 years manufacturing or nonwovens experienceEngineering and manufacturing theory experienceManufacturing lines knowledgeStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work effectively independently in a fast paced environmentMicrosoft Office, SharePoint, MES, Infor proficiency
Additional Details:Salary: $68-$90k + bonusEmployment Type: direct hire
