General Summary

A Calibration Technician should be able to handle a fast-paced environment where multitasking is a must. Candidate should have a working knowledge of basic test equipment (i.e., Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters…)

A calibration technician will be performing but not limited to the following duties:

Perform multiple calibrations with little to no supervisionCoordinate the workload dailyIdentify and analyze failed test data and take appropriate actionBe able to read and understand data and spec sheets and perform manual calibrationsPerform automated calibration using lab softwareBe available for overtime when needed

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to learn new skills and measurement techniquesPrevious experience in a testing environmentComputer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and basic IT skillsOrganizational and time management skills

Experience

Prior Military history in an Electronics base rate is highly desired. AA/EE in Electronics or engineering2-5 years’ experience in an electronics based testing position

Pay Range

$27.73 - $41.59

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
