Job Summary
Our client north of Boston is looking to add a CMM Programmer to their team for a contract to hire opportunity. Candidates must come equipped with at least a High School Diploma and 6 years in CMM programming in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will be working in the inspection room and safety equipment will be necessary in certain areas of the shop. This position is also eligible for overtime. Responsibilities
Independently develop CMM programs. Conduct part inspections using CMM and manual methods on surface plates to ensure alignment with customer and internal specifications. Document non-conforming material reports (NCMR) and implement corrective actions (CA). Design and execute inspection plans for incoming materials and production processes. Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
