Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of the Compressor and Generator Engineering Staff.
- Coordinate meetings between company personnel and clients.
- Review and authorize proposals prior to submission.
- Monitor fabrication labor and material costs to ensure adherence to Scope of Work.
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of company Inspection Reports and Quality Control processes.
- Manage the closure of Fabrication and Revamp orders internally before invoicing.
- Identify and negotiate additional work through company change order procedures.
- Coordinate Field Start-up services in collaboration with District Service Managers.
- Achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a representative for the company in handling project warranty claims when necessary.
- Develop and submit Inspection & Test Plans upon request.
- Possess an understanding of industry welding and vessel codes.
- Focus on enhancing efficiencies and profit margins.
- Stay informed about market values for used engines and compressors.
- Establish and maintain company Quality Assurance Reports.
- Negotiate pricing with used equipment dealers.
