Our Client, a large Electric Utility, is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support nuclear projects.
Details:This person will be a Switchyard SME for the Nuclear FleetSupporting the entire nuclear fleet within the specialized fleet component engineering group - this is a speciality group that supports niche areas within the Nuclear Fleet.2 days in office, 2 days at home.
Requirements:STRONG knowledge of how large power transformers workSTRONG knowledge of how large power transformers are designedNuclear ExperienceKnowledge of breakers and disconnectsKnowledge of switchyard componentsKnowledge of switchyard interface agreements - interactions between plant and switchyardProtective relay experience regarding isolating the switchyard to the plant if there's an issueNERC/FERC Standards knowledge
