Job Title: Java Application Developer - Guru(Lead)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Java Application Development to spearhead a critical project focused on pay reconciliation. In this role, you will lead the development efforts to enhance connectivity and synchronization between our organization's systems, with a particular emphasis on integrating Workday, our system of record, with various disconnected systems such as PTO balances.
The primary objective of this project is to ensure seamless connectivity between systems, enabling accurate pay reconciliation and reporting to identify discrepancies. Additionally, you will play a vital role in pulling and analyzing data around phone agent activities, ensuring alignment with their schedules and time cards to guarantee proper compensation.
Requirements:12+ year of experience in the industryExtensive experience in Java application development, with a deep understanding of core Java concepts and best practices. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for backend development. Strong command of frontend frameworks such as VueJS, React, or Angular, and ability to develop responsive user interfaces. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.Prior experience with CI/CD practices and tools for automating software delivery. Familiarity with Workday or similar HR/payroll systems is highly desirable. Experience with eTime or other time tracking systems is a significant plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Java programming or AWS solutions architecture. Experience working in Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of pay-related regulations and compliance standards.
