Who we are looking for

Re:Car is looking for a dynamic, experienced Dimensional Control Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for development, design, and execution of all aspects of Dimensional Control in the electrical vehicle space. Work closely with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering/Operations to develop an integrated dimensional control and datum strategy at a product, subassembly, component level and process level

• Manage all aspects related to dimensional control during both the design and manufacturing phases.
• Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy for our company.
• Collaborate with suppliers/partners and internal departments to execute the company Datum and Dimensional Contral Strategy and GD&T component requirements.
• Communicate with all stakeholders to balance and maintain program timing, performance, and budget.
• Deliver a Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy and process that meets overall product performance requirements, CAPEX and Opex targets, as well as uptime, quality, and customerDevelop production execution of the Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy including product requirements, process documents, tooling specifications and standards, as well as document lessons learned for future programs and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute cross-functionally to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the product/process development system.
• Respond to executive team/internal team inquiries and cross functional issues to arrive at the best enterprise-wide balanced solution.
