About This JobThis is a leadership position within one of the worlds most prestigious firms and based within their Strategy team, reporting to the Director, Strategy. The Strategy team is responsible for defining and envisioning the future of the company and developing a strategy for successful growth. In this highly visible role, the Manager will own the end-to-end work process to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and drive actionable recommendations through a data driven process. What You'll DoLead quantitative analyses and modeling to evaluate growth opportunities — modeling will include business cases, acquisitions, partnerships, and investmentsIdentify potential acquisition targets, JV, and investment opportunities to accelerate the companies strategic objectivesConduct comprehensive competitive analyses to influence decision-making, including competitor landscape, capabilities analysis, and customer overlapMonitor industry trends, market dynamics, and future trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for differentiation or competitive advantagePartner with business to drive strategic objectivesAct as an agent of change to prepare and influence people within the organization to act with urgencyCommunicate key project insights and recommendations to Company leaders and senior corporate executives by creating written narratives and delivering presentationsBuild strong connections with industry players, emerging innovators, and Company leaders to be at the forefront of new developmentsContribute to improving the Strategy team by enhancing existing processes and developing junior team members What You'll Need3-5 years of full-time work experience in investment banking, corporate development, or strategy consulting Strong problem-solving skills, structure ambiguous problems, bring logic to drive key analyses, and synthesize analyses to actionable insightsHigh aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel modeling skills and experience with the application of formulasAbility to influence, motivate and direct large, cross-functional teams that do not report directly in to this positionEffective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in slidesSuperior organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects and manage expectations of stakeholdersIntellectually curious, results focused, and exhibits the highest standards of integrityCollaborative, flexible, team-oriented working style Its essential that you have experience with a leveraged buyout (LBO) and financial modelling as this is a key area you will be an advisor on. Other tasks will include supporting of slide decks.
