Position Summary: Cognitive is seeking a Technical Writer who will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, maintains and documents meeting outcomes and action items, explains complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with our development teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.
Duties
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content Manage updates and revisions to technical literatureManage and maintains meeting documentation
Required Skills
Experience in documenting technical content, including JSON, APIs, software specifications, product release notes, and product user guides Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS OfficeStrong attention to detailSkilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
Required Education, Experience, and Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree Proven experience working in a technical writing positionAbility to obtain a Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)US Citizenship required
