Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software and possess excellent analytical skills. The accountant will ensure financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Assist with budget preparation and monitor budget variances. Process payroll and maintain employee records. Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Stay updated on accounting principles and regulator changes to ensure compliance.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPA preferred but not required. Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles.
