Datacenter Operations Manager

As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data center facility. This role requires a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, as well as proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team of operations staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center operations and a track record of success in leading teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the data center, including monitoring systems performance, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and processes to enhance data center operations. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards. Perform regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including security and safety protocols. Participate in the planning and execution of data center expansions or relocations as required. Qualifications:10+ years of experience in data center operations, with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure and best practices. Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data center operations, such as ISO 27001 and Uptime Institute Tier Standards. Certifications such as CDCDP (Certified Data Center Design Professional) or DCOS (Data Center Operations Specialist) are a plus.
