We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team, specializing in SQL and Power Query. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating production reports, maintaining data integrity, and assisting in the creation of Power BI dashboards. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for a Boca Raton, FL client. Responsibilities:Utilize SQL and Power Query to generate production reports by extracting and manipulating data from the SQL database. Refresh data in Excel (Power Query) to generate production reports according to predefined schedules. Modify existing reports to accommodate changing business requirements and user feedback. Continuously evaluate and improve report generation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams to address data quality issues and implement corrective measures. Document report generation processes, including any changes or modifications made, for future reference. Participate in brainstorming sessions and share ideas for enhancing SQL systems during meetings. Utilize Power BI to assist in building and maintaining dashboards by writing SQL queries to create datasets and extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources. Collaborate with Manager/IT team to brainstorm ideas and assist in creating Power BI dashboards for clients. Learn and understand how Power Automate works and how it can streamline tasks. Maintain existing Power Automate scripts, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Power Automate workflows with existing systems and applications. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, analytics, or relevant business field.3+ years of experience at a finance or lending company, fund administrator, commercial bank, specialty servicing company, or an investment firm is a plus. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power Query (M Language), and Power BI.Experience with Power Automate is a plus. High levels of ownership and drive, with the ability to work in a team-oriented work style. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organization capabilities. Ability and willingness to multi-task and re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a highly professional environment.
