Responsibilities

Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Take part in various department-wide initiatives Other projects as required

Requirements

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience Knowledgeable of ERP systems A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills General ledger experience preferred Manufacturing Industry experience Proven knowledge of variance analysis General familiarity with Microsoft Excel SAP experience Well-founded grasp of Journal Entry Preparation Experience with month end closings Proficiency in account reconciliation Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports Strong time management and organizational skills BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
