📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities: Rocket EMS is looking for a self-motivated quality engineer who can work independently to: · Review customer documentation and communicate with customer as needed· Review MPI against customer requirements, and suggest appropriate changes to make it user-friendly and mistake proof· Actively review and analyze the daily defects, historical defects and work with cross functional teams to prevent/reduce defects· Identify manufacturing problems or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process · Performs Internal audits and initiates corrective actions and follow-ups to audit findings (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001 & ISO 13485).· Perform risk assessment and work to mitigate the identified risk· Review the DFM report and ensure that the identified issues have been resolved before starting the build· Monitor the build closely to ensure that the process controls are in place · Conducting process audit to ensure that the quality controls are maintained· Lead the CAPA· Work with suppliers and purchasing team for the supplier quality requirements and supplier quality issues· Provide training to the operators/QC inspectors to enhance the knowledge of people· Review and ensure that the deviations are properly understood and implemented· Make suggestions on process and quality improvement to Quality Engineering Manager· Expertise in APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA will be a plus· Knowledge of SPC and Measurement System Analysis will be a plus· Drive the execution of quality goals and objectives· Drive the actions to meet the internal and external customer requirements Education & ExperienceCollege graduate with 2+ years of experience in quality engineering OrHigh school diploma with 5+ years of experience in quality engineeringSkills:Certified for industry workmanship standard (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001)Excellent technical knowledge of PCB Assembly processes will be a plusGood communication skills in English J-STD-001 Space addendum experience will be a plusProficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, bills of material, etc. Good understanding of BOM structure and document control activityGood understanding of material traceabilityProficient with MSWord, Excel and Outlook Good Problem-Solving Skills
