Company Description We are looking for experienced roofers and apprentices in the Kansas City, Jefferson City and Springfield areas. Pay is based on experience and we also enroll every new hire through our apprenticeship program located in Kansas City.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Journeyman Roofer/Apprentice at Roofers Union Local 20 located in Kansas City, MO. The Journeyman Roofer/Apprentice will be responsible for performing tasks related to new construction roofing and reroofing of commercial buildings.
QualificationsExperience or no experience in low sloped roofing and waterproofingAbility to work at high elevationsKnowledge of roofs and roofing materialsBe able to work in extreme weather conditionsAble to lift 50 lbsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent physical fitness and staminaAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong work ethicExperience in the construction industry is a plus
