Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Lake Success, NYSalary: $60k - $70k
A full-service law firm is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable including billing, collections, and resolving customer billing issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities:Issue invoices and bills to clients and ensure timely delivery. Chase outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment. Reconcile accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client disputes. Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Requirements/Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable Specialist roles or similar positions. Demonstrates a solid grasp of accounting principles and practices. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and familiar with legal billing platforms like Centerbase. Possesses strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
