RxSight® is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the world’s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. Overview
This project offers a valuable opportunity for Data Analytics Intern to apply theoretical knowledge to a real-world scenario, enhancing skills in database design, data analytics, and project management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
LAL Molding: Complete redesign and restructuring by July 2024. Deliverables include a redesigned database schema, optimized Power BI queries, and a comprehensive data dictionary. Chemistry Department: Scheduled for August 2024, with similar deliverables focused on this department's specific data structure and reporting needs.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Data Documentation: Interns must maintain detailed documentation of their project work, including a data dictionary for each department, to ensure clarity and future reference. Hand-off Meeting: A brief meeting with the process owner of each department (LAL Molding and Chemistry) to ensure a smooth transition and understanding of database maintenance requirements.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, And TRAINING
Currently enrolled at a 4-year university Prefer: PythonTraining to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control systemThe training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
