Position: PostgreSQL DBALocation: O'Fallon, MO (Onsite)Long Term Contract Job Description – Must gave have relevant experience and in-depth knowledge in any PostgreSQL administration task. A database administrator's responsibilities can include the following tasks:Perform installations and upgrades of PostgreSQL (Preferably PPAS 9.4+)Plan and perform DB Patching. Knowledge of Database backups / Troubleshoot failures, query execution plans, performance tuning techniquesDefine maintenance plans. Configure / Troubleshoot Replication (BSR / xDB SMR / xDB MMR)Set up disaster recoveryPerform Fail-over and Fail-backsHands-on knowledge in Oracle to Postgres DB MigrationMonitor servers through PEMCapacity planningScript database changesKnowledge of NOSQL databasesExperience with latest versions PostgreSQL EDB versionsUser Administration and Security
