Description

SAIC is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Developer experienced in developing on the Appian Low-Code Platform to join our dynamic team! As an Associate Developer, you will work closely with other team members to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using the Appian platform to meet our internal and external customer's business needs. You will be involved in developing and delivering solutions that help our customer's solve complex problems.

This is a full-time remote job that can be worked anywhere within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and test Appian applications and components using low-code development principles and best practices.
• Customize and extend the functionality of the Appian platform through the creation of plug-ins, integrations, and custom modules.
• Participate in design and code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of developed applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian applications with existing systems and third-party APIs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in low-code development and Appian platform capabilities.
• Assist in the documentation of technical designs, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing development process and practices.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field with two or more years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, an additional four years of experience may be considered.

Required Experience

Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Current Appian Associate Developer CertificationProficiency in Appian development concepts such as process models, business rules, expressions, and interfaces. Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Must have experience withImplementing user stories according to design and best practice guidelinesDatabase principles and/or experience with database design

Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAttention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
