Samson Rose has been exclusively engaged to help an exciting client of ours hire a Senior ML Engineer to work on the Computer Vision elements of their product. The company is still in stealth mode, has top-tier investors, and is comprised of a lean, high-performing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating Al-driven systems for a novel project, the details of which will be provided following the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop advanced algorithms for object detection, identification, and tracking, leveraging state-of-the-art computer vision techniques. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate Al technologies into the broader system architecture. Assist in testing and validation process for Al functionalities in various controlled scenarios. Craft high-quality code in line with best practices for Al development within the team. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Al and related technological domains. Document development processes and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing. Effectively communicate complex technical details to a diverse team.
RequirementsMaster's or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field. Demonstrable experience in computer vision and machine learning with a strong portfolio of relevant work. Proficient in programming with Python, C++, or similar languages and familiar with ML development frameworks. Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to obtain and hold a Department of Defense Security ClearanceThis role will require up to 25% domestic travel.
PreferredExperience with Publisher Subscriber architectures. Experience with ROS and similar node-based packages. Experience in handling large amounts of data at high frequency and performing real-time analytics. Experience in data compression, especially image/video (J2K, H.264, H.265, FFMPEG, etc.)DoD Security Clearance is always nice to have.
