Job Summary
Performs installation, maintenance, service, and repairs in a clinical setting. Serves in a support role for delivery and set-up of equipment. The Equipment Technician maintains home medical equipment rental equipment for customer use in accordance with HealthCare Accessories mission, vision and goals. Manages equipment in computer system, including preventative maintenance and manufacturing protocols. May be responsible for posting payments and managing the billing of home linked systems.
Possesses a working knowledge of computers and vendor software. Knowledgeable in supplies, equipment, and warehouse terminology preferred. Skilled communicator, both verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in mentoring others desired. Must be trust worthy and able to complete tasks assigned without close supervision.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in equipment repair and maintenance preferred. Knowledge of tools and maintenance equipment helpful.
When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
