About The Job

The Software and Hosting Procurement Strategic Sourcing Team is looking for a Procurement Analyst who will help to source, negotiate, and work contracts for goods and services on behalf of SAS. Our team is a very bonded group of professionals that work as one unit to achieve the same common goal of saving SAS money and making the customers happy.

As a Procurement Analyst, You Will

• Manage all aspects of the sourcing process for the organization.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Identify, collect, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support procurement decisions.
• Monitor and report performance of contractual agreements and/or projects.
• Build value into business processes through the principles of supply management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in Procurement with Software Procurement preferred. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply management, business administration, economics, marketing, accounting or related field. MBA, CPM, and CPCM preferred. Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications. You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Works independently; receives minimal guidance on day-to-day work and new projects or assignments. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
